3 Day Quick Fix

Many of you must have heard about the 21 Day Fix.  The program that helps you lose weight the healthy way (or gain it if you need to) using portion control containers, 30 minute workouts each a day and the freedom to eat yummy foods but learn to do it in moderation.  

But, what if you want to kickstart your weightloss NOW and get beach-ready, or at least a LOT closer to it, in 72 hours! This is Autumn’s secret weapon for losing weight fast before a competition or photo shoot. You can do it during the last 3 days of 21 Day Fix for mind-blowing "after" pictures OR if you need a lil extra kick start before a wedding or upcoming event!

It's a great way to "reset" your mind & your body to rid yourself of a few bad habits & overeating practices!  It's not something you want to do for any longer than 3 days, but if done occasionally , its a great way to lose a little weight, fast.  it's a high protein, low carb, low fat diet so, with that said, i
t's not going to be easy! Staying on track with the meals and drinking plenty of water is KEY! You might find yourself hungry or craving those beloved carbs haha but believe em, it'll be well worth it when you're done!

Here's the deal: 

  • Space meals about 2 hours apart. TIP: Set a reminder on your phone to alert you!
  • Eat those greens! She recommends steamed veggie options like broccoli, asparagus, green beans, zucchini, cucumbers or bell peppers. TIP: Frozen veggies in Steamer bags are a lifesaver!!
  • Approved Seasonings:  lemon and lime juice, vinegars, and spices. No SALT
  • Oatmeal can be flavored with cinnamon, nutmeg, or one packet (1/2 teaspoon) of stevia YUM!!
  • Drink at least one gallon of water a day. Spread it out as much as possible starting with a glass when you first wake up. It will help you feel full while it flushes toxins from your system. 
  • Drink Extra Virgin coconut oil with meals. To prepare: place the desired amount in a microwave safe bowl and zap for 10 to 15 seconds.
  • Coffee or tea is ok to drink, but avoid creamers and sweeteners except stevia.  
  • Stick with your regular workout sched! No need to alter your workouts, the 3 day quick fix can be used anytime! It is also recommended during the last 3 days and only 3 days of the program for maximumresults.

Here is an Example of the plan!:

Meal 1: (YELLOW) Steel cut oatmeal (cooked) (RED) Egg whites and 1 spoon of E.V. coconut oil.
Meal 2: 1 (RED) grilled chicken and 1 (YELLOW) steamed yams
Meal 3: 1 (RED) steamed fish and 1(GREEN) steamed veggies (or Shakeology)
Meal 4: 1 (RED) grilled chicken and 1 (GREEN) steamed veggies and 1 spoon of E.V. coconut oil.
Meal 5: 1 (RED) Steamed fish and 1 (GREEN) steamed veggies and 1 spoon of E.V. coconut oil.
Meal 6: 1 (RED) ground extra lean turkey 1 (GREEN) steamed veggies and 1 spoon of E.V. Coconut oil.

Repeat for 3 days! Drink lots of water and NO SALT!!



I’m not going to make this sound any better than it is – the allowed foods list is small, but you have to remind yourself it is only for three days to get yourself ready for your after photos. Limiting yourself to these foods is going to create an amazing difference to your body, so it makes how mundane the foods list is worth it.
What you CAN eat:
Steamed Vegetables
Lean White Proteins
Steel-Cut Oatmeal | Steamed Yams
Limes, Lemons, Spices
What you CANNOT eat:
Processed foods
You also are not allowed carbs after noon, which was doable, as was eating no fruit for three days. Of course, the no carbs after noontime does take its toll on feeling less energy than usual, so make sure to get your workouts in earlier.
You get six meals, spaced 2.5 hours apart. The first two meals include carbs, the last four meals are protein and veggies with coconut oil mixed in with three of them.


You might look at the 3 Day Quick Fix meal plan and think, is that really all? At least, that’s what I was thinking when I first looked at it. That’s one great thing about the Quick Fix diet it’s simple – there’s not a whole lot of shopping that needs to be done or choices to be made.
If you start adding in foods or subtracting out foods, you are not following the 3 Day Quick Fix diet.  You either choose to follow the diet or not – it’s entirely up to you.
Here’s a list of what you’ll need:
  • steel-cut oatmeal
  • 2 yams
  • 18 egg whites
  • 3 lbs chicken breast
  • 3 lbs wild caught cod loins or other white fish
  • 1.5 lbs extra-lean ground turkey
  • extra virgin coconut oil
  • broccoli, asparagus, green beans, zucchini, cucumbers, bell peppers
  • 3 gallons of water3 servings
  • Shakeology  ***I include Shakeology in my 3 day quick fix because frankly, I cannot live without it.  I have to have it to keep my cravings away, keep me full and it takes away the redundance of eating the same thing for 5 meals each day for 3 days straight. One can only eat so much chicken and fish! If you don’t want to include it, you don’t have to but it is beneficial! The above list is for women. Men would need a bit more food, which is explained below! Remember, I substitute Shakeology for one of the meals (usually Meal 3 or 4) because it helps keep me full, helps keep away cravings and I frankly cannot have that much chicken and fish each day!
